Before PQ I considered myself a relatively positive person. I was at least periodically positive and happy, yet I was struggling under the constant pressure of not being smart enough, successful enough, or perfect enough. I suffered in isolation and believed I was successful only when I pushed myself harder than others. Sadly the result was anxiety, a lack of self-love, and likely damage to relationships. The problem was a tug-of-war between the survive and thrive portions of my brain....
